Geek Squad Uniform Policy

Geek Squad Uniform Policy & Notes

The importance of the uniform

Few things stir as much respect as the Geek Squad uniform. Maybe it’s the white socks, or perhaps the clip-on-tie. Either way, it’s the fastest ticket to stardom in town and will be worn with pride.

It is Geek Squad policy that you will be in uniform throughout your workday, during training, at events and for every on-site service call you perform. The uniform is an integral part of our branding and marketing and it is imperative that you present the brand to perfection. Clothing should be neat, clean (no yellow armpit stains), well fitted, and free of excessive wrinkles or worn areas. Cosmetics and jewellery should be kept to a minimum. All agents must ensure the highest standards of hygiene and grooming – do not be afraid to let your fellow agents know if they stink!

Geek Squad uniforms for agents only, however, lately there has been an uprising of impostors among us. No one other than highly trained and officially appointed Geek Squad agents should ever don the Geek Squad uniform. The code for official Geek Squad attire is unbreakable and absolutely ironclad. No one – not children, siblings, pets, neighbours or even potential recruits – should ever put on a Geek Squad uniform before official assimilation into our ranks. Promotional or fun activities are no exception to the uniform code. Agents should only wear their uniforms while on duty. The last thing we want is our brand misrepresented. We can’t take the chance that our clients might think we’re entrusting their computers and data to a toddler or a poodle.

Taking care of your Geek Squad armour

Each garment is made for specific use and will withstand many service calls and in return you must treat it with care. Please take the time to read the wash instructions on the inside of your garments and also check the Information posted on the WAUGHgroup website. Geek Squad does not provide a laundry service. Being proactive with your washes will ensure that your beloved uniform looks spick and span each day, every day.

Ordering your uniform

Every new starter will receive a package from WAUGHgroup, our uniform supplier, containing sizing and an email address for account set up. Once you have registered yourself with WAUGHgroup a link will be sent to you along with your log in. When starting each agent will receive the full uniform outlined above, for replenishments the company will allocate an amount that can be spent on items an individual needs.

Occasionally you might receive a garment in the wrong size or a faulty item and thus it is important to read WAUGHgroups terms and conditions carefully to see if and what you will be charged for i.e. delivery charge, the garment if it has been worn.
